The annual kingdom summit was cursed. For the past thirteen years, the people of Dewar breathed easy knowing that the gathering that took the lives of their beloved king and queen and led to the deaths of thousands of civilians would never happen again. The disappearance of a local woman sparks a chain of events that leads the reclusive king to announce the revival of the summit. And this time, he will be opening it up to kingdoms on the surrounding planets.

There is a romance and whodunit subplot, and it contains adult content (murder, sex, language).
